Garden Party Wedding at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

Rose and Collin got married at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas. This venue was special to them because Rose grew up right next to it and she’d visit this space often growing up. If you tell me your wedding will be filled with color and has garden party vibes, I’ll always be excited for it.

It was one of those days everyone feels like a friend and it feels like everyone loves everyone? I loved it. What a beautiful day. As I knew it would be. (Sometimes you just know).

The ceremony took place just as the sun had set completely. Twinkle lights lit the aisle and made the evening so dreamy. I love utilizing ambient light when possible for ceremonies because the images can feel so dreamy and ethereal. These two had been together for a few years, but they later discovered that they had actually met as children because their parents were friends. It was one of those stories someone could easily make an A24 movie about. I was grateful to be able to document this part of it.

The Lady Bird Wildflower Center is in South Austin. It is open to to the public, closing most days at 4pm. It is such a peaceful space to walk around, so I knew it’d be a lovely wedding venue.

This day felt so special because of how much joy just emanated from everyone. It truly feels so warm whenever I think of it. Here are a few images from the day Rose and Collin got married.
