When Lara and Brandon pivoted their plans from a big Austin wedding to an intimate Las Vegas Celebration - I knew we were in for a treat!! They threw tradition out the window in the best way possible and created a day that was uniquely them—vibrant, fun, and filled with personality. (Just scroll to the bottom, and you’ll see what I mean!!)
Instead of a traditional venue, they booked an Airbnb and transformed it into the most stylish little slice of disco heaven. Think shimmering disco balls, custom touches everywhere you turned, and a vibe that said, “This is going to be fun.”
And boy, was it ever fun.
The lovebirds went all out for their day, and decked the Airbnb out with disco balls and all the personal touches, including a cocktail menu inspired by their cats. (We LOVE a personal touch!!)
And the fashion? Incredible. Lara and Brandon showed up in groovy, bold outfits that turned heads in the best way. Lara’s 70’s inspired silk dress with dipped neckline was to die for. And her bridesmaids were stunning too with their colorful wedding party ensemble.
And get this! One of the bridesmaids even hand-made Lara’s a colorful, custom veil. Once you see it, you’ll know how it perfectly matched the energy of the day. It was a burst of color that set the tone for the celebration. I’m voting that we bring colorful veils into the wedding scene more often!
One of my favorite parts of documenting their day was how easy it was to just be there. I didn’t feel like a vendor or someone on the sidelines—I felt like a guest, a friend, part of the celebration. That kind of energy is rare and special. The joy was real, and everyone there was soaking it up, dancing, laughing, and cheering on two people who clearly know how to throw one hell of a party.
And this intimate Las Vegas Celebration was just that: a party.
We kicked off the day getting ready separately, and then the almost-newlyweds met up for an intimate first look and some portraits together. The VIBE of the day was chill, disco, 70’s theme… and it was VIBIN’.
The ceremony was in the backyard by the pool, and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye to be found. Everyone was so, so happy to be celebrating Lara and Brandon.
After they said “I do!” everyone gathered for dinner next to the pool, and then dancing into the night. Lara changed into a sparkly shift dress for dancing. And everyone had the time of their lives.
Weddings like this one are a beautiful reminder that your day doesn’t have to fit a mold. It should feel like you. Whether that’s a private Airbnb in the desert, a dance floor full of disco balls, or a signature drink named after your favorite fur baby, every detail should reflect your love story. Lara and Brandon’s wedding did just that, and it was a dream to witness.
